NP Alexandria Davis-Mitchell – Family Medicine

Born and raised in La Junta, Colorado, Alexandria is a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with a diverse background in nursing and healthcare.

After completing her high school education, Alexandria pursued a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Colorado State University-Pueblo, graduating in 2017 with distinction.

In the early stages of her career, Alexandria worked as a registered nurse at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, Colorado.

In 2019, Alexandria relocated to Huntsville, Alabama, where she continued to expand her expertise in the healthcare field.

While in Huntsville, she pursued a Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Alabama at Huntsville, graduating in 2022.

During this time, Alexandria honed her skills in advanced clinical practice and gained valuable experience in treating a wide array of patient populations working at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville, AL and teaching undergraduate students at the University of Alabama at Huntsville.

After earning her master’s degree, Alexandria returned to Colorado in 2023 and fully transitioned to the role of Family Nurse Practitioner.

She now specializes in treating patients with substance use disorders and primary care needs.

Her clinical practice is guided by a strong commitment to improving the lives of her patients and advocating for their health and well-being.

Outside of her professional career, Alexandria enjoys spending quality time with her beloved husband, fur babies, and family.

Her passion for patient care, along with her dedication to her family, drives her to continue making a positive impact in the lives of those she serves.
