YFS Outpatient
YFS Outpatient offers individual, group, and family therapy services, along with specialty services.
Home-Based Family Treatment
The Home-Based Family Treatment program is an essential service model that brings therapy and skills work directly to families:
- Clinicians and clinical care specialist staff support clients in their homes and in the community, offering a flexible, family‑centered approach.
- This model enhances engagement, strengthens family systems, and makes services more accessible for families with transportation or scheduling barriers.
Group‑Based Healing and Skill Building
We are proud to offer a diverse selection of therapeutic groups, designed to empower youth and help them overcome challenges:
- Two Teen DBT Groups build emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness skills.
- Two Substance Use–Focused Groups support youth in harm reduction, recovery skills, and healthy decision‑making.
- The CBT Group helps participants learn practical tools for managing thoughts, feelings, and behaviors during times of stress or transition.
Creative and Play‑Based Interventions
We offer dedicated therapeutic spaces designed to meet youth where they are developmentally and emotionally.
- Art interventions take place in our fully equipped art room, encouraging self‑expression and regulation through creativity.
- Play therapy occurs in our playroom, supporting younger clients and helping them process experiences through movement, imagination, and skill‑building.
Exceptional Clinical Talent
Our department also offers an Advanced Clinical Expert (ACE) Clinician, Kimberly Patrick, whose expertise and dedication contribute significantly to high‑quality, client‑centered care.
Strong Community Collaboration
Our Health Solutions team works closely with many youth-serving organizations, including DHS, probations, schools, and more, to ensure that youth who need structured support receive coordinated services. This partnership strengthens outcomes and promotes long‑term success for youth navigating complex systems.
