Employee Assistance Services

The purpose of our employee assistance services is to assist employers and employees deal with problems, situations, and circumstances that could adversely affect the employee and/or the workplace. Some employers may choose to open up this service to family members of employees. Issues commonly addressed through employee assistance include:

Studies indicate that employee assistant services may provide the employer with various benefits such as, lower medical costs, reduced turnover and absenteeism, and high employee productivity. On average 19 percent of people experience problems that affect their work performance. An estimated 25 percent of employee abuse alcohol or other drugs, and 12 percent experience devastating emotional problems that make their way into the workplace. Researchers indicate that for every dollar an employer spends on employee assistance services it saves the employer $3 to $5 in healthcare costs, employee turnover, productivity, and absenteeism.

Service Options

Employee assistance interventions can be conducted in numerous ways with differing populations. For individual employees we can provide assessment, one-to-one counseling, consultation, skills training, and education. We can also provide on-site job coaching, workplace reintegration, supervisory consultations, and behavioral performance assessments. For work teams and committees we are available for consultation, interventions, and problem assessment. We provide advisory services in writing, revising and implementing workplace policies. In addition we can assist with conflict resolution for supervisor-employee problems, as well as management coaching and education.

How to Get Started with Employee Assistance

Employee assistance services are typically priced on a capitated rate, based on the number of employees and the amount of services you’d like to offer each employee. The more individuals an employer employs, the lower the cost. The following are examples for both a small employer and a larger employer:

Small Employer

Number:                          30 Employees

Service Types:                 Individual employee sessions and workplace on-site consultations

Service Quantity:            10 Session Per Year and 4, 2-hour sessions on site

Price:                                 30 employees x $15 per month = $450 per month


Larger Employer

Number:                          75 Employees

Service Types:                 Individual employee sessions and workplace on-site consultations

Service Quantity:            10 Session Per Employee Per Year and 4, 2-hour sessions on site

Price:                                75 employees x $10 per month = $750 per month
